Join Vanderbilt UP on July 4th for the 17th annual Music City Hot Chicken Festival in Nashville’s East Park!
The Music City Hot Chicken Festival brings together the local community and visitors to celebrate the uniquely Nashville dish of hot chicken. Attendees will be able to enjoy hot chicken from Nashville’s best hot chicken establishments, cold beer from Yazoo, and other delicious edibles from local vendors.
We’ll be selling discounted copies of our books about Nashville at the Vanderbilt UP booth from 11 am to 3 pm, and author Jerome Moore will be there signing copies of his new book, Deep Dish Conversations: Voices of Social Change in Nashville, starting at 12:30 pm.
The festival, which is free to attend, will also include live music from local bands all day long, as well as a Kids Zone with activities for the entire family.
